We spent 14 hours on the road today. Most of it was driving through Clearwater National Forest. It is simply the most beautiful forest that I have ever seen. Driving through it (the Lewis and Clark historical trail) is several hundred miles. The strong scent of pine is addicting. The aroma was like nothing I have ever experienced before. We arrived at John & Nancy's at 2:00 am after getting more than a little lost within 10 miles of their house for about 2 hours. Bob was not-so-happy but quickly recovered as soon as he saw his family.
Nico and Bella are getting along just smashingly!

Sounds like you guys are having a great time. I'm jelous!I recognize some of the picture from when I was there with John and Nancy. It is breathtaking. I'm really enjoying the day-by-day accounting of your trip. Gives me something to look forward to every morning when I get to work. Like following a live story - what will happen next!
